The Turkish family drama Başim Belada (2023) follows the story of Azam Kamber (played by Keremcem), a former cop investigating injustices with his friend Pele. Pressure mounts as Azam’s mother want him to marry his childhood friend, Melike.
Pele sends a photo of Leyla (played by Merih Öztürk), Azam’s neighbor, with the message “The girl I love” from Azam’s phone, and the Kamber family rushes to Istanbul to meet her.

Başım Belada – WHAT’S THE STORY? (Synopsis)
The Turkish family drama series Başım Belada (2023) revolves around the life of Azam Kamber (Keremcem), a former police officer who resigned from his job after a traumatic experience. Azam, along with his best friend Pele, forms a team to follow up on cases of injustice and help the wronged.
However, Azam’s personal life is not smooth sailing. His mother in Trabzon wants him to marry his childhood friend, Melike, but Azam is not interested.
To make matters worse, Pele sends a photo of Leyla (Merih Öztürk), Azam’s new neighbor and the eldest daughter of the Biçer family, to Şerife, with the note “The girl I love” from Azam’s phone. This message led the Kamber family to bring Melike to Istanbul to meet Azam.

Meanwhile, the Biçer family is a mysterious family with unique talents. Tayfur, Leyla’s father, has no ability but excels in risk analysis and detail orientation. Leyla’s mother, Narin, is a skilled hypnotist, while Leyla’s siblings, Buğra and Berna, are talented in hacking and hand-to-hand combat, respectively. However, their happy family life is shattered when Safa Çağdaş murders their eldest sons, pushing the family into a revenge quest.
The story takes a thrilling turn when the Biçer family’s plan of revenge comes face to face with Çağdaş Varlı, a member of a powerful organization that reaches everywhere. On the other hand, Azam tries to hide the fact that he resigned from his job as a police officer from his father, who is uneasy about his son’s future.
