DIZI – Kasaba Doktoru (Town Doctor) is a 2022 Turkish medical drama adapted from the Korean series Dr. Romantic (2016), starring Ozan Akbaba, Deniz Can Aktaş, and Hazal Subaşı. Produced by ARC Film, the medical drama series Kasaba Doktoru premiered its first episode on 8 April 2022 on TRT1.
Kasaba Doktoru follows the life stories and professional difficulties of three idealistic doctors, Ömer, Leyla, and Hakan, whose paths cross in a town hospital far from the city. In Uluçınar Hospital, there is one rule, if it’s about saving a life, they take all kinds of risks.

The Turkish drama dizi series Kasaba Doktoru / Town Doctor (2022) depicts the life stories and professional difficulties of three idealistic doctors, Ömer, Leyla, and Hakan, whose paths cross in a town hospital far from the city. In Uluçınar Hospital, there is one rule, if it’s about saving a life, they take all kinds of risks.
The series follows the story of Hakan (Ozan Akbaba), a legendary surgeon from a big hospital who was exiled to this small town because of his undisciplined behavior. Doctor Hakan is the chief of surgery and can perform operations in this small hospital that can not be performed in many big city hospitals, but without taking any procedure to account.

His path will cross with the young and promising doctor, Ömer Ozen (Deniz Can Aktaş), who decided to embrace this profession after losing his father because of injustice. When Ömer was still in high school, his father had a heart attack and came to the hospital, but instead of looking at him, the doctors tried to save the father of a deputy. Ömer falls in love with the emergency doctor Leyla, but a tragic accident takes Leyla away. Before that, Ömer confessed his love to Leyla, but no answer returned. Years later, they will meet again in this town hospital forgotten by the world.
Doctor Leyla is an emergency doctor at a large university hospital in Istanbul, and dr. Ömer is her intern. Ömer is in love with Leyla, who is in love with the surgical chief of the hospital. Right as she receives a marriage proposal from her lover, Leyla has an accident, she survives, but the most famous doctor in the hospital doesn’t. Unable to use her right hand in a proportion of 50%, Leyla quits surgery and starts specializing in the heart field by being assigned to Uluçınar Hospital.
Ömer, with idealist doctor Leyla, whom he loves, and dr. Hakan., will be involved in a story that will change their lives forever.
