As someone who always wanted to remain a child, I tried all kinds of ways to cope with this, but at the end of the day, I surrendered to what was happening inside me. There was an emptiness right in my heart. Then, over time, I learned to live with what that emptiness brought, with a shape-shifting sense of longing and an unending love. Maybe I’ve come a little closer to being a good person. I love my father very much. I tell him every day, but today I wanted to share it with you…”
