Bir Küçük Gün Isigi – WHAT’S THE STORY? (Synopsis)
The Turkish series Bir Küçük Gün Işığı / A Little Day Light (2022) tells the rebirth story of Elif (Seray Kaya) emerging from darkness into the light after her life suddenly turns upside down. Everything seems to go fine in Elif’s life, she owns a wedding planning company, and she is married and happy with her husband Hakan, whom she loves since high school.
The only thing missing from their happy marriage is a child. The same day Elif began pursuing the idea of adoption, she received an unexpected call from the hospital to inform her that her husband was the victim of a car accident. Arriving at the hospital, she learns her husband died. Things get messy, and Elif’s mental and emotional situation gets worst.
Elif goes from deep sadness to the shock of her life when she finds out that Hakan, who’s not been faithful, has a daughter. Disappointed and devastated, Elif can hardly believe that her beloved husband has betrayed her by hiding for years that he had another wife and a daughter, Guneş, who can’t speak. Moreover, in the legal documents, Elif appears as Guneş’s real mother.

While living a real nightmare, Elif’s life paths inevitably converge with Fırat (Berk Oktay), the owner of the company where Hakan worked.
