Business Proposal tells the story of Young Ha-ri, a kind-hearted woman who is unlucky in love. Ha-Ri had a boyfriend and was deeply in love with him for a long time, but she found out that her boyfriend has a girlfriend. Ha-ri feels lonely, and she decides to meet with her good friend Jin Young-Seo, who is the daughter of a chaebol family. Jin Young-Seo asks Shin Ha-Ri to replace her on a blind date, offering her even money for the lost time. Shin Ha-Ri accepts her friend’s offer. She goes on a blind date as Jin Young-Seo while disguising herself to scare off the suitor. Ha-ri discovers that the suitor she wants to scare is actually her boss, Kang Tae-moo, who wants her as his wife.

Kang Tae-moo and Ha-ri, who start spending time together, will end up falling in love with each other, and when the identity of the latter is revealed, the couple will have a few obstacles to face. But, the duo will manage to find the way to each other, thanks to Tae-moo’s grandfather, Da-goo. Ha-ri does her best to win Da-goo over by keeping him company at the hospital. Kang Tae-Mu is the CEO of a company his grandfather founded. Because Kang Tae-Mu is a workaholic, his grandfather sets him up on a blind date which annoys him. He decides to marry the next lady she meets on a blind date so he can focus on his work. This woman is Shin Ha-Ri, who pretends to be Jin Young-Seo. The first day after the dating, Shin Ha-Ri receives a phone call from Kang Tae-Mu. He asks her to marry him.

Ahn Hyo-seo portrays Kang Tae-moo, the charming CEO of Go Food, a company founded by his grandfather. He studied at Harvard University and returned to Korea recently. His grandfather forces him to go on a blind date because he wants to see him married. Kim Se-jeong portrays Shin Ha-ri, an employer of the company Go Food. She disguised herself as a vixen after accepting to replace her friend on a blind date. Kim Min-kyu plays Cha Sung-hoon, the chief secretary of Go Food. Raised in an orphanage sponsored by Go Food’s parent company, Cha Sung-hoon is a brother to Tae-moo. Seol In-ah portrays Jin Young-seo, Ha-ri’s best friend and the daughter of a chaebol family, who asked Ha-ri to replace her on a blind date with Tae-moo because she wants to wait for her true love. Lee Deok-hwa portrays Chairman Kang Da-goo, the grandfather of Kang Tae-moo and the founder of the Geumhwa Group, the parent company of Go Food. His only wish is to see his grandson married.

Will there be a second season of Business Proposal (2022)?

As of now, SBS has not made any official announcement, regarding the second season of Business Proposal (2022). There is nothing sure for the moment, but there is room for a second season in the story. However, most likely, taking into consideration the happy ending of the first season and the lack of updates, there might not be a second season after all.
