Caner Topçu Takes the Lead in a New Teen Drama titled Dönence (2023) Broadcasted by KANAL D as a Turkish Remake Based on an Award-Winning Israeli Series!

The young and charming Turkish actor Caner Topçu stars in the new summer dizi Dönence streamed by KANAL D as a Turkish Drama Remake Based on an Award-Winning Israeli Series!

Kanal D officially confirmed the leading actor of their new 2023 teen summer drama Dönence, Caner Topçu, will star in the Turkish remake of the award-winning Israeli series Exceptional, which received critical acclaim for its authentic and sensitive portrayal of autism.

The new Turkish teen drama will be set in the beautiful town of Izmir’s Foça and shallbe directedby Kerem Çakıroğlu (previously known for the Kavak Yelleri series).

 

  • Young actor Caner Topçu rose to fame in 2022 with his breakout role in the Turkish TV Drama series Duy Beni alongside charming Rabia Soytürk, gaining a large following among Turkish audiences and not only.

Dönence (2023) – What’s the story?

The new Turkish TV series Dönence (2023), a teenage drama broadcasted by Kanal D, focuses on the story of two sisters and their broken bond, Gece and Gülce, who after years of distance, are forced to spend time together over the summer.

Maya, a young but well-known blogger in Turkey, prepares for her perfect summer after being chosen as the face of a big fashion brand, along with her lovely boyfriend and their Glitch Group.

However, her dream plans for the summerare ruinedwhen Mayais forced to go with her 15-year-old autistic sister, Alona, to a youth sailing campsite for people with special needs. Here, the two estranged sisters will go through an emotional journey that strengthens their connection, exploring sisterhood love and acceptance.
