The dizi series Esaret / Redemption (2022) follows the vengeful love story between Orhun ( Cenk Torun), who seeks revenge for his twin brother, and Hira (Mahassine Merabet), a prisoner of his consciousness. The Demirhanlı, a straight descendant from one of the Ottoman pashas, is shaken by bitter news. The twin sister of the head of the family, Orhun Demirhanlı, fell victim to a terrible crime in Africa where she went on duty. The young daughter of the family was a passionate soul who went to Africa as a volunteer doctor and got killed by illegal organizations. Confronted with the bitter truth in Africa, where he went to pick up his sister, Orhun sets out to punish his sister’s killers. On his road, he finds Hira, a beautiful slave girl who he thinks killed his twin sister.
