The Mandalorian – WHAT’S THE STORY? (Synopsis)
“The Mandalorian” is the first live-action series in the Star Wars universe. It first aired in 2019 and has released 16 episodes (called chapters). Season 3, which premiered on March 1st, is set five years after the action of the film Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, released in 1983. Notably, a fourth season has already been confirmed.
During the Galactic Empire’s fall, The Mandalorian becomes a renowned bounty hunter in the New Republic. Along his lonely journey, the protagonist, Din Djarin (portrayed by Pedro Pascal), encounters a mysterious Child with extraordinary powers.

WHO ARE THE MANDALORIANS?
The Mandalorians are multiracial people known for their special armor and helmets. According to their strict moral code, a Mandalorian must never remove their helmet. Their primary motto is “This is the way,” referring to their strictly defined values. This warrior people’s history goes back thousands of years before the founding of the Republic.
WHO IS THE MYSTERIOUS CHILD?
The character known as “The Kid” or “Grogu” is one of the most recognizable characters in “The Mandalorian.” This little companion of the protagonist Din Djarin possesses the powerful Force that the Jedi have and is said to be 50 years old. Grogu belongs to the same race as the legendary master Yoda and enjoys frogs as his favorite delicacy.
The character’s name is unknown from the beginning. The public finds it only in chapter 13 when he reveals it to Ahsoka. Grogu is now part of pop culture.

EXPANSION OF THE MANDALORIAN UNIVERSE
“The Mandalorian” has already spawned a spin-off, “The Book of Boba Fett,” which explores the story of another bounty hunter. Watching at least three episodes (5, 6, and 7) of “The Book of Boba Fett” can give a wider insight into the intrigues of Season 3 of “The Mandalorian.”

FAMOUS CAST
