NETFLIX’s psychological dizi series follows the gripping and emotional story of Fatma (Burcu Biricik), a cleaning lady harshly tried by fate, who becomes a serial killer after an outburst of anger when she unexpectedly murders someone. The life of Fatma, who works as a cleaner, takes a drastic turn after her husband Zafer, recently released from prison, disappears. Fatma enters on a dangerous journey searching for Zafer, whom she met at a young age. Fatma’s drift towards chaos begins with the loss of her autistic son, Oğuz, in a traffic accident. Fatma and her little sister, Emine, had a traumatic childhood. During her childhood, Fatma was sexually abused in a barn, a fact known by everyone, and kept silent. An event buried deep within herself. But with the death of her child, the disappearance of her husband, the survival spirit will trigger the awakening of a new Fatma, strong as iron but fragile at first glance. Even though Fatma is a serial killer, you can empathize and establish a meaningful tie with her character. Her appearance might trick you, an invisible character in society, stronger and fearless than she looks. After her husband’s disappearance, Fatma starts working as a cleaning lady to earn a living, and everywhere she goes, she asks about Zafer. The owner of the house where Fatma stays is an alcoholic who comes to her door with sexual advances. His attitude scares the old Fatma, but the new one will not accept the same treatment. To find more details about her husband’s disappearance, Fatma get involved with the mafia, making a risky delivery for Bayram, who knew Zafer. During an outburst of anger because of an answer she received, Fatma unexpectedly murders someone. Zafer’s dark connections find out about her murder. From now on, to survive, Fatma will be forced to kill. However, there will not be innocent victims.
As she continues her series of murders, Fatma turns this into a ritual of revenge for what she experienced in life while not forgetting the purpose of this journey, Zafer. Fatma believes no one will ever suspect her because she is a simple cleaning lady. Unaware that police are on the trail, Fatma wants to return to her village to ask account of her past experiences.
