The Turkish drama series Gönül Dağı / Mountain of Hearts (2020) follows an Anatolian tale in the steppe, the story of Taner and his two cousins who grow big dreams in their small worlds, trying to achieve the impossible despite all the obstacles. Taner (Berk Atan) is a young inventor living in a small town called Gedelli in the middle of the steppes who dreams, with his cousins Veysel and Ramazan, of building an airplane for years. Finally, they managed to create the aircraft and attract a company to see and invest in their long-dreamed invention. Years later, Taner’s childhood sweetheart Dilek returns to the town as a geological engineer. She has a five-week assignment to investigate the rock and soil structure in the city. Meanwhile, Taner has five weeks to impress Dilek and win her heart. Will Taner, Ramazan, and Veysel be able to fly their plane? Will Taner, Ramazan, and Taner become successful inventors? Filming locations
