DIZI – Hicran is a new 2022 daily Turkish drama series starring Elçin Zehra İrem, Berk Bakioğlu, and Nisa Sofiya Aksongur. Produced by Filmevi Yapım, the daily dizi series Hicran premiered its first episode on November 7th.
The new daily dizi series follows the painful story of Hicran, a mother who lost her baby daughter at birth. At least, that is what they told her, but she is living with a strong feeling that her baby is not actually dead. Hicran is breathing and living in the hope of reuniting with her daughter.
Thanks to a destiny twist, Hicran ends up babysitting her own daughter.

Hicran – WHAT’S THE STORY? (Synopsis)
The new daily dizi series follows the heartbreaking story of Hicran, a young woman who tries to hold on to her life after losing her child at birth. Every morning she wakes up shaken by the same nightmare, trying to reunite with her daughter. Even though she has been told that her daughter died at birth, Hicran has a strong feeling that her baby is not actually dead.
Her life will change when she saves a girl named Melek, who is locked up in a car and has a respiratory attack. After saving the girl, she finds herself in the detention center on charges of child abduction due to a misunderstanding with the girl’s father. Hicran can’t prove her innocence because of the girl’s inability to speak.
After police find video footage of the incident, Hicran is released. When Emre, the father of Melek, finds out she is looking for a job, he convinces Hicran to be Melek’s babysitter realizing she is the reason for his daughter being alive. By a twist of fate and without knowing, Hicran starts living with her own daughter as her babysitter in their mansion. Hicran’s arrival will change the family dynamics.

Keriman, the stepmother of Hicran and Emre’s mother-in-law Aliye, is the reason for the painful separation between mother and daughter, Hicran and Melek.
To not let his daughter be without a mother, Emre engaged with his deceased wife’s distant relative, Yeliz. He never found out the reason behind his wife’s death and his daughter’s inability to speak. Emre has never tasted love, even though he previously married Maral under the pressure of his aunt Nurten. Emre’s only wish is to hear his daughter’s voice once again. Melek, who witnessed the death of her supposed mother affected her emotionally and buried the traumas deep within.
Despite Yeliz’s attacks on Hicran, Emre never stops trusting and supporting her as he sees that her influence helps Melek come out of the silence. Emre slowly but surely falls in love with her while trying to protect Hicran from her ex-husband, who was recently released from prison, and tries to kidnap her.
Ailye, who is scared that her secret will be uncovered, and Yeliz, who, is afraid of losing Emre, will be the biggest obstacles in their love story. Despite the malicious plans, power struggles, and dramatic intrigues that throw the family into chaos, Melek and Hicran embrace each other with love, listening to the voice of their heart, without knowing that, in fact, they are mother-daughter.
