MedYapım and Ay Yapım, the founders of the distribution company Madd Entertainment, reportedly ignited the controversy with a one-page presentation aimed at foreign buyers.
The presentation featured visuals of their own dizi series, including “Hudutsuz Sevda,” “Yabani,” “Kirli Sepeti,” and “Şahane Hayatım,” but also incorporated images from other local producers’ shows.
Controversially, these shows, such as “Kızıl Goncalar,” “Sandık Kokusu,” “Sakla Beni,” “Safir,” “Dilek Taşı,” and “Bambaşka Biri,” were allegedly labeled as having no sales potential.

This presentation, shared during negotiations and via WhatsApp messages to inform foreign industry representatives, has infuriated other producers who feel their TV series were unfairly portrayed.
