Ray Liotta Godfellas’ Star died at 67, while shooting for the upcoming movie Dangerous Waters.

NEWS – Ray Liotta, the Hollywood actor who rose to fame with his role in the 1990 Martin Scorsese crime classic “Goodfellas,” died at the age of 67. Liotta died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting for the upcoming movie “Dangerous Waters.” Liotta leaves behind a young daughter. Ray Liotta soon was planning to get married to Jacy Nittolo.

The Hollywood actor Ray Liotta has a pattern of psychopathic characters who hide behind a polished charm. Before the famous movie “Goodfellas” he played in Field of Dreams (1989) and Operation Dumbo Drop (1995).

In 2005, Liotta won a Primetime Emmy for his guest stint on ER. He has two nominations for SAG Award for the TV miniseries Texas Rising (2015), and The Rat Pack (1998), in which he portrayed Frank Sinatra.

Ray Liotta was born in New Jersey and was adopted by the Newark township clerk, Alfred Liotta. He studied the art of acting at the University of Miami, where she created a strong friendship with Scarface (1983), and Thief of Hearts (1984).

Ray Liotta spent his first years of acting in TV: Another World (1964) and a few short-lived series. In 1986, he made his break out in movies with the black comedy Something Wild. For the next years he made ”small movies,” like Dominick and Eugene (1988).

In 1989, Liotta played in Field of Dreams. Two years later, he is cast in Goodfellas (1990). And the success of the movie, also brought him a tremendous amount of fame and sprinkled his acting career.
