In 1941, both fell in love with the same woman, Suzan Özsöy (Belçim Bilgin) – the mayor’s daughter, and wanted to conquer her with poetry. To decide which of them is the chosen one for Suzan, they made a bet: the one whose poem will be to the girl’s liking wins, and the other withdraws. But the two friends have to face bigger problems, like the plague of the 1940s, which is increasingly threatening their lives. There are no good signs for their future. Will love conquer death?
