The Turkish film Senden Bana Kalan / What’s left of you (2015) follows the tragic love story of Elif (Neslihan Atagül Doğulu) and Özgür (Ekin Koç), a young boy who lost his parents in childhood but grew up without any real difficulties thanks to his grandfather’s legacy. Özgür’s plans of living comfortable and irresponsible life with that money turned upside down.
Grandpa prepared a surprise condition in his will. To enter in possession of the legacy, Özgür will have to leave his extravagant life in Istanbul. Özgür will have to move to the Adatepe village of Çanakkale, where will live for a year. Otherwise, he will receive only a tiny part of the legacy, and the rest, will be donated to charity.
