During the opening of the 23rd International Love, Peace, Friendship, and Culture Festival held in Karadeniz Ereğli, Şevval Sam and the Sakiler group took the stage.
The festival, which will last for four days, witnessed a remarkable performance by Sakiler and Sam Şevval, leaving the audience captivated. Karadeniz Ereğli Mayor Halil Posbıyık and his wife Neriman Posbıyık presented gifts to Şevval Sam and the Sakiler group.

The mayor of Karadeniz showered Şevval Sam with praise, stating:
“I will complain to you about this beautiful lady and versatile artist. Every time, there’s an excuse. Rightfully so, but she has been involved in movies, TV series, Turkish classical music, Turkish folk music, and even released a rock album.
God has bestowed beauty and talent upon her. I am delighted to host such an artist here. This time, I said, ‘I will bring her.’ Şevval Sam’s manager informed us that she has prior commitments on July 7th, 8th, and 9th.
However, her manager stated that they could come on July 6th. We arranged a stage for Şevval Hanım. We extended the festival to four days. She is one of the leading ladies in Turkish arts…” he expressed.

Şevval Sam responded:
“I didn’t know I was loved this much. If I had known, I would have come even on Monday morning.”
While heading towards the stage from her caravan, Şevval Sam walked through the circle formed by the security personnel. Accompanied by the security circle, the artist went onstage and didn’t stay still for a minute. Şevval Sam performed her hit songs, leaving no spot untouched. Wearing sneakers under her dress, the artist explained that she opted for a sporty style to feel comfortable due to walking a lot recently.

Şevval Sam, who released her album “Rock’ı Severiz” (We Love Rock), shared:
“We have released the first four songs. People are asking, ‘Did she sing rock?’ I wanted to experience something completely different. I wanted to hear our favorite iconic songs in a completely different sound.”
When asked about the name of her music, the artist responded:
“We are looking for a name. Maybe it can be ‘Rock’n Alaturka.’ It can be a new-generation Alaturka. It creates an instant shock effect.”

Şevval Sam, who appeared in the series “Yasak Elma” for six seasons, continued:
“I have periods of exploration in acting and music. Now I have transitioned to music for a while. I will continue with music until I come across a new and impactful script. I may not immediately dare to take on a television project.
It has been a demanding six years. Perhaps a movie or a digital platform could be an option. A powerful script for television could be the next step.”
