Here is a synopsis question: Would you exchange your poor but caring family for a life full of luxury? The Korean drama series The Golden Spoon depicts the adventures of Lee Seung-cheon (Yook Sung-jae), a high school student born and raised in a poor family, who reverses his destiny and switches life with his best friend born in a rich family.
To trade lives, he uses a magical golden spoon he buyed from an old lady, who told him: “If you buy this gold spoon for $3 from me, you can change your parents. You’ll eat 3 meals with this gold spoon with someone your age and at their house. That person’s parents will then become your parents.”Lee Seung-Cheon does as the old lady and eats 3 times at his chaebol friend house. Lee SeungCheon chosed the succesor of the Doshin group, Hwang Tae-yong (Lee Jong-won), who was born with a golden spoon in his mouth. As soon as Lee Seung-Cheon changes, he learns that the grass is not always greener and money doesn’t guarantee happiness.
