The new Turkish Netflix series Terzi / The Tailor (2023) follow the true story of Peyami (played by Çağatay Ulusoy), a young and gifted tailor who inherited his grandfather’s prosperous business. After his grandfather passes away, Peyami must confront his biggest secret and bring his mentally ill father into the center of his life in Istanbul, all while keeping the truth hidden from everyone else. The upcoming Turkish Netflix drama series Terzi / The Tailor (2023) follows the journey of Peyami, a talented and famous tailor who has inherited a successful business from his grandfather. His life takes an unexpected turn when his grandfather passes away, and Peyami has to bring his biggest secret to the forefront of his life in Istanbul – his mentally ill father, Mustafa.
Peyami now has to juggle running his business and caring for his father while keeping his secret hidden from the world. It’s a difficult task, but he’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect his reputation.
Meanwhile, Esvet, a young woman running away from an abusive relationship, finds herself in Istanbul, hoping to start a new life. Fate brings her to Peyami’s doorstep, and they quickly form a friendship bond. But Esvet also has a secret.
