TRT 1’s historical dizi series Barbaros Hayreddin: Sultanın Fermanı (2022) follows the adventures of Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa, also known as Hızır Reis, an Ottoman corsair, who in 1533 was appointed as the first Kapudan Pasha aka Grand Admiral of Ottoman Empire by Suleiman the Magnificent.
