A sincere point of view
I have to say that there is not much depth to Leyla’s character, silly gestures and childish behavior. Really wanted to see more from Fahriye Evcen in the Turkish film Evim Sensin (2012). I feel her acting skills were not allowed to expand to the real potential. It is clear that Fahriye Evcen was told: “you will be the cute girl who just came out of Japanese anime movies.”Advertisements ↓
I can’t leave without pointing this one thing out. The fact that Özcan Deniz positioned himself as a macho man with the George Clooney vibe in a movie he directed himself… Well, it says a lot. When Iskender enters a room, everything around moves in slow motion with the camera focusing on him… DUH!
